Who should use this e-learning module…
You should go through this module if you have diabetes or work in an aged care facility and look after anyone with diabetes with a view to understanding what diabetes is, what happens in diabetes and what you can do about it.

Clients who we have provided this training for have reported a better awareness of their condition and problems associated with diabetes. This has therefore enabled them to identify problems at the early stage of development and prevent complications.
This education session does not cover all possible ailments associated with diabetes; however it will provide a valuable core understanding for clients to look after themselves or carers to provide a higher level of care.
It is set out in an easy to follow format which will benefit both clients and carers, It is important for people with diabetes to understand and appreciated that management of diabetes is vital to maintaining quality of life.
