- What do I get as part of the corporate membership initially?
If you sign up as a corporate member, you will get e-learning modules, posters, e-books, video/audio and PowerPoint presentations and dozens of industry hot tips! You have to agree, that’s great value! - How long do I need to sign up for (is there a minimum)?
There is no obligation to sign up for any set period of time. You can go month to month and cancel at any time. - How does it compare to on-site training? Will my staff be able to learn through digital training vs. face-to-face training?
YES – The main benefit is that you have 24/7 online access and more training materials are available. You can learn whenever you have the time and with less staff management. More importantly, you don’t have to try and get all your staff in the one place at the one time because they can learn at separate times. This also means that there will always be someone available to service residents. - What about practical training?
Practical training can be provided in South Australia, Victoria and the Northern Territory. CLICK HERE to enquire about our on-site practical training service. We also have video examples for you to see. - What happens when training changes?
Whenever changes are made to training products/materials, they are continually updated, so you always have an updated library and videos available to you. - How often do you update your training materials?
We will update training materials on a monthly basis. Each month we will add (at least) 1 x e-learning module, 1 x audio/video presentation, 1 x e-book, 1 x poster, 1 x hot tips release and 1 x article! - Do you sell the W&L training modules individually?
YES – all items can be purchased individually if requested. W&L aims to make all items able to be purchased via the website, but until this is set up an order can be placed at W&L head office. Despatch of goods in on payment of invoice. - What if we don’t have enough workstations on site for our staff to do the training?
It’s easy, you login through our website to do the training. This gives you access 24/7 from work, home or any other computer that has internet access. Alternatively, W&L have put an option together of providing all W&L Library content on a laptop computer which is purchased with the annual subscription. - Do you provide certificates or proof of staff training completed?
YES – when a staff member logs on to the website, they are directed to a page where they input their name, facility and what training they are planning to complete. Once they log off, this automatically generates an email that can either be sent to someone at your facility or to W&L and we can send you a report of your activity every month. W&L can also provide you with certificates of completion or attendance if requested by facilities for a small admin fee. - Does your training count towards Continuous Professional Development (CPD)?
Yes – For nurses, 1 hour of study is equivalent to 1 CPD point; for physiotherapists, a flat 20 hours per year of CPD is required. As long as your CPD correlates to your identified learning requirements, you can allocate your own points. W&L are now APEC (Authorised Provider of Endorsed Courses) approved and able to allocate CNE points by endorsement of the Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA). Look for the logo on our products for your CNE point allocations.

- What if I am already signed up with Aged Care Channel?
W&L Education is not only extremely cheaper than Aged Care Channel, it is more accessible – meaning more of your staff will get to attend or complete CPD. W&L Education is available 24/7 through an online platform and you don’t need to wait for a program or training session to come on! Also, W&L Education is not just about training, it is a resource library. Aged Care Channel do not offer posters to put up around your facility, hot tips on the latest accreditation and validation audits, and e-books which can be downloaded, printed and placed around the facility or given to clients and family members. - What if we are already signed up with the Australian Nursing Federation (ANF) Courses?
The ANF CPD online only offers 17 different modules. They are not RCNA accredited and they are not aged care specific. Topics include things like, “Respiratory 1 – Upper airway obstruction and ECG & Rhythms 1″. In contrast, W&L has topics that are aged care specific like, “Providing ACFI Complex Health Care Directives & Therapies to Aged Care Residents”. - What if we have multiple sites/facilities?
That’s not a problem. We offer discount packages for multiple sites and also multiple access. Call us to find out more! - How will I know if this is worth my investment?
When conducting training on site you need to take into consideration not only the cost of training, but travel costs, staff issues (as they have to come to the site), and more. Compare this cost to one e-learning module valued at $47 or for one of our therapists to come out and provide one hour of face-to-face training, this would cost over $250. This way you can have access to all our training for $250 a month! - Why should I believe you? What credentials do you have?
