Manual Handling for Community Carers

Don’t have any experience in aged care or manual handling and worried about injuring yourself or clients/patients? Don’t know how to use a frame or walking aid to properly walk a person? Many staff and employees have difficulty in knowing how to best transfer or assist another person. There are many aspects to providing assistance to another person in a safe way that best helps them and keeps you safe at the same time.

You should go through this training if you provide some sort of level of care to a resident or client in a facility or the community and you assist them in transferring or walking.
